As on the Ard of Port Ellen, the volatile content in samples from Ardilistry Bay is highest in the sill margins (7.5 ± 1.8 wt.%) and lowest in the sill interior (4.8 ± 1.3 wt.%). The volatile content of the cumulate layers is similar to Human Genome Project of the sill interior (Fig. 13).
